Felted Lampshade Workshop – 25cm Drum Lampshade
In this felted lampshade workshop, participants will create a handcrafted 25cm drum lampshade using Australian fine Merino wool. Guided step by step, you’ll learn traditional wet felting techniques to form, full and shape wool over a drum base, resulting in a strong, beautifully textured lampshade.
The workshop also explores surface design and decorative techniques, allowing you to personalise your lampshade with colour, texture and simple felted details. Whether you prefer a clean, minimalist finish or a more organic, layered look, you’ll be supported to create a piece that reflects your own style.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some felting experience. By the end of the session, you’ll take home a one-of-a-kind felted lampshade that brings warmth, character and handcrafted beauty to your home.
